Styling Update: Vintage Media Cabinet
This post is simply to share how I styled my Deco cabinet in a chic, yet practical way.
I'm inclined to place houseplants on tabletops; mostly because I have more plants than I do space, but today, I decided to give this cabinet the purpose and styling it deserves.
I don't have many 'found objects' to put on display, so I opted for the good ol' stacked books and plant trick. The main purpose of this cabinet is media storage, so obviously, my turntable is present.
To tie in that vintage 1930's vibe I love so much, I added a decanter and antique coupe glasses. Honestly, name a better pair than vinyl and cocktails? I'll wait.
Finally, I hung this awesome and inspiring female plumage headdress print that I found online. (Not linking it because the site was very sketch.) I need to replace the frame because it's painfully obvious how little I spent on it; yet another reminder that frames are one of those things you shouldn't skimp on.
Now that having people inside your home is allowed, I look forward to using this space for entertaining, instead of just another home for a plant.
